Chuan Xu holds a PhD in Chinese philosophy and religion from the Graduate Theological Union of Berkeley, California. Her main research interests are in the thought of Laozi and Zhuangzi, interdisciplinary gender studies, and methodologies in teaching Chinese as a second language.
